Far Cry 4 Announced!

As the pre-E3 excitement builds up into a crazed monster, we are beginning to catch quick glimpses of games that are in store for us. There have been a few reveals such as Halo 5 and the various rumors of a new Fallout AND Red Dead Redemption 2. I can only hope a few of those rumors are true but what we most certainly have now is a brief look at FAR CRY 4 from Ubisoft themselves!

Far Cry 4 is changing things up a bit from their critically acclaimed island paradise to deep into the Himalayas in a region known as Kyrat that has been taken over by a self appointed despotic king. The usual mechanics will be in place and expect wildlife like you've never seen before! More from this title will be unveiled at this years E3 in June.

“Following the success of Far Cry 3, we wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans’ expectations,” said Dan Hay, Executive Producer. “Given the unique setting, we feel Far Cry 4 will stand out as a top first-person shooter and we’re eager to reveal more about the game in the coming months.”

Development on Far Cry 4 is being led by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Kiev.
